Arlene Wilson Management is a full-service talent agency representing models, stylists and actors nationwide with offices in Atlanta, Chicago and Milwaukee. We represent print, commercial and runway models, as well as hair/make-up artists and wardrobe and set stylists. Each of our three offices has a broadcast division representing experienced actors for television, film, industrial, commercial and live events. Additionally, our Atlanta and Milwaukee offices have a nationwide talent base of voiceover professionals.

The year was 1976. The woman was Arlene Wilson – a young mother of two with a vision of owning and operating a talent agency. Armed with her knowledge of the industry as a former model and the determination to succeed, Arlene opened the doors of Advertisers Casting Agency, the second talent agency in Wisconsin, in October 1976.

Arlene and her business partner Judy Richards started from scratch and recruited some of the best talent in the area. As the years passed and the client base expanded, so did the vision of Advertisers Casting Agency. By 1980 Arlene was solely running the company, and the agency had a new name, Arlene Wilson Talent. With a growing company at her helm, Arlene was preparing for expansion into other markets.

Arlene’s children, Michael and Lisa Stothard played an integral role of growing the business as well. Michael opened the Atlanta office in 1985 and quickly established the agency as a major player in the Atlanta market. In the mid 1980s Lisa’s modeling career took off, and she traveled the globe working for top fashion designers. As the mother of an international model, Arlene made invaluable contacts in the industry.

By 1986 Arlene made an aggressive move to the Chicago market. Spending half of her time in Milwaukee and the remaining time managing the Chicago office, Arlene’s focus was to promote her talent and expose them to larger markets. And expose them she did. Throughout the years the agency represented many of today’s well-known celebrities, including:

In 1996 Arlene retired, although you may still find her in the office from day-to-day offering her assistance and advice. Today, Arlene Wilson employs 17 agents with over 125 years of combined experience. The agency continuously strives to be a force in the industry and has experienced many “firsts” in the business. In the past five years, Arlene Wilson was the first major agency to establish a web site including fashion portfolios, the first to produce a CD compilation of its talent, and the first major agency to design a web-based FTP site for voice over auditions. Started with a vision and dream, Arlene Wilson has gained a reputation as one of the leading agencies in the industry today.
