Jaki Baskow, CEO
Jaki Baskow has always been a visionary. Her motto is, "Let us dazzle you!" Recently named the Small Business Association's Las Vegas Business Person of the year, Jaki has been committed to the highest level of service to her clients since 1976 when she founded Baskow & Associates, a full service company with divisions that include total event, meeting and destination management, a speaker's bureau and a talent agency that provides world-class entertainment and movie casting.
Listed in the Book of Who's Who, Jaki has received numerous nominations for the Woman of Achievement Award, Arts and Entertainment Award, and Entrepreneur of the Year Award. Named as one of the Top Ten Star Brokers in the world, Jaki is a SAG affiliate and member of MPI, CEMA, SITE, and IAEM. Baskow & Associates is the Las Vegas Global Event Partner and Jaki has been the subject of a full-length feature on the Discovery and Travel Channels. After years of experience in the industry, Jaki remains passionate about her business and dedicated to her clients.
Jennifer Patino, President
Jennifer Patino served for over ten years in the casino/event marketing arena and then transitioned into hotel management where she experienced record growth for over a decade. Jennifer then rejoined the event industry in 1996 at Baskow & Associates. Her ability to oversee all aspects of Baskow & Associates, as well as servicing her clients, attests to her commitment to excellence. High standards, versatility, and leadership qualities have earned her the respect of her clients, the Baskow team, and industry peers. Jennifer coordinates and services all Global Events Partners clients and partnership responsibilities resulting in Baskow & Associates receiving the prestigious “Partner of the Year” award for outstanding service in 2004. Jennifer believes in under promising and over delivering!
Scott Washburn, Executive Vice President
"Service, Service, Service," is the most important word in Scott's vocabulary. Creative and conscientious, Scott Washburn has over two decades of event planning and management experience. During the 20 years that Scott spent in the corporate arena, he implemented several innovative new concepts in the events planning area. A member of MPI, Scott is current on all of the latest technological advances in the meeting planning industry.
John Sanchez, Account Executive
Formally the Director of Operations, John has moved up the ranks to Account Executive. In addition to his executive duties, John heads the Latin American Division of Baskow & Associates. With a degree in Personnel Management, along with 34 medals for distinguished service in the military, John is well prepared to handle all his client's needs. John's exceptional leadership skills, caring attitude, desire to please, and attention to detail, ensures that his clients have an excellent experience while in Las Vegas.
Laurie Musselman, Account Executive
Laurie Musselman enjoys the challenge of staying within a client's budget, while exceeding their expectations in terms of quality and service. She believes each event is a blank canvas that allows her to create a unique and fantastic event that runs smoothly, is fun and entertaining. Laurie has an extensive entertainment background in both performance and management in the hospitality, theme park, and cruise line industries. As the former Cruise Director with Royal Caribbean International, Laurie is accustomed to working with guests from all over the world. Her strong organizational skills allow her to focus on the logistics of running a program, while her creativity shines when it comes to creating customized team-building events. Laurie believes that all clients should be treated as valued guests.
Beth J. Duke, Account Executive
Beth J. Duke joins the Baskow & Associates family as an Account Executive after working for nearly fifteen years in the hospitality industry, handling everything from special event production and sales to operations management. Beth's philosophy is that the best service that the team can provide is to truly listen to the client's needs and understand the scope of the entire program and utilize this information to create a unique and customized package. Beth believes that working with the operations team from start to finish is key to the success of the program. "Bringing a concept to reality is what makes our jobs so exciting and the smiles on the faces of the satisfied client and the attendees are the reason we work so hard."
Creecy Underwood. Account Executive
Creecy joins us after several years of both sales and operations experience within the Las Vegas market. Creecy has a BS and an MS in Restaurant, Hotel, and Institutional Management from Texas Tech University, and has worked and taught in all aspects of the in the industry for the past 10 years in some way, shape, or form. She is a hospitable person by nature, and the instant gratification from putting a smile on a client's face is what she lives for. She is passionate about the industry, and believes that pairing product knowledge with client needs is the key to exceeding client expectations.
Joshua Jones, Vice President of Operations
Joshua Jones, a graduate of Colorado State University, has been involved in meeting and event planning for many years. He has a unique understanding of both Sales and Operations, as he was the former Regional Sales Director for American Golf Corp., Las Vegas. Joshua's philosophy of "All challenges are seen as Opportunities to Succeed" enables him to deliver top-notch service and long-term relationships with clients and vendors.
Michael Craig, Senior Operations Manager
Michael loves a challenge, and every day at Baskow & Associates brings a variety of opportunities to test his skills. A graduate of Colorado State University, Michael has a Bachelor's degree in Journalism and Technical Communications with an emphasis on Public Relations. He regards each and every client as unique. No matter how wild or seemingly impossible the clients' ideas may be, Michael does everything possible to accommodate their wishes. Michael makes sure that clients receive the "best of the best" professional service.
Kristen Adams, Operations Manager
Kristen brings an extensive background in Special Events Planning, working along side some of Las Vegas’ most exclusive Resorts, as well as with the Convention/Corporate communities. Attention to detail, a welcoming, professional manner and teamwork are just a few components that make a program a true success! When the client departs Las Vegas feeling their program made them shine, is our job well done!
Sara Rawlins, Operations Manager
Sara has joined the Operations Department after being a Senior Event Coordinator for over two years for Baskow & Associates. Prior to her move to Las Vegas, she was a choreographer for several champion synchronized swimming teams. Her attention to detail and her willingness to make every client feel at ease makes her a welcome addition. Sara will do what it takes to get the job done and make your program a huge success.
Darren Chichester, Operations Manager
Darren joins Baskow & Associates as Operations Manager following nearly twenty years of experience working within the Hospitality Industry. A past major in Hospitality Management at Purdue University, Darren has worked extensively within the Hotel industry involving himself in everything from Rooms Management to Food & Beverage with a few well-known international hotel corporations.
Wrapping up his time working in the hotel business, he then moved into the more specialized area of Event Production and Logistics Management with a national event and destination management company several years ago. Now with Baskow & Associates, the varied combination of his extensive operations experience carries over to the successful day-to-day support of our clients.
Dianne Adkins, Technical Services Manager
Dianne Adkins is detail-oriented, focused and customer-service driven. With a BA in Economics and an extensive background in databases and computer systems management, Dianne adeptly uses state-of-the-art technology to accurately collect and maintain the copious details required when planning housing blocks and events. Dianne and her skilled team pay attention to each client's individual needs and preferences and deliver efficient service which allows the attendees to enjoy a smooth and effortless on-line pre-registration, check-in and departure. Whether clients need registration and housing for large or small groups, in Las Vegas or nationwide, Baskow & Associates offers the highest quality service.
Lorraine Gibson, Housing and Registration Manager
Lorraine comes to Baskow & Associates with a Bachelor’s Degree in Education and a Master’s Degree in Instructional Technology. As a teacher for 20 years, she brings her “people personality” and her caring attitude with her. Lorraine works with clients and attendees to ensure their experience is enjoyable and the program/event exceeds all expectations. Being involved with a project from beginning to end, through each detail, is how to guarantee a rewarding and positive outcome.
Alec Sonenthal, Housing and Registration Account Manager
Alec comes to Baskow and Associates from Austin, Texas, and brings with him more than 15 years consulting and management experience in meeting technologies and services. Knowledgeable in both computer technologies and business processes, Alec is at his best bridging the gap between technology and customer service. Alec's duties include creating innovative technical solutions to customer needs and refining business processes to create the best solutions to our customers' needs.
