Established in 2001, Nomad Management quickly rose to the forefront of the burgeoning field of personal management companies in the modeling world. In this short time, our models have appeared in highly coveted advertising campaigns such as Abercrombie & Fitch, American Eagle, Diesel, DKNY, ESPRIT, Giorgio Armani, Jil Sander, Levi’s, Salvatore Ferragamo and more. Additionally, they are continually being featured in leading fashion magazines including Elle, Details, GQ, Harper's Bazaar, L’Uomo Vogue, Vogue and W.

Nomad Management offers worldwide placement, career development and personalized management to aspiring and experienced models. Our job begins by explaining the ins and outs of the fashion industry. As with the start of any new career, there are facets of the business that require a steep learning curve. What is a test? What is an option? What exactly does a stylist do? Who are the top commercial and fashion photographers right now? For that matter, who are the top agents in the business? And, should I choose a powerhouse agency or a boutique agency with more personalized attention? These are the questions that many times go unanswered when new models are presented with contracts for representation here in New York and beyond. Nomad Management is here to serve as a reference source and guiding hand.

We believe in management strategy tailored to our models’ strengths, needs and goals, and direct each career accordingly. Frequently, many models have great "moments," but cannot sustain that level of success. While it is not always possible to outlast the fickly world of fashion, our scouts and managers who are themselves former bookers and models, have the experience and dedication to help navigate this complex business towards a lasting career.


Another very unique service that Nomad Management provides is to function as a placement and consultation company for many top U.S. and European modeling agencies who may be less familiar with the various and contrasting career opportunities available in Asia. Our knowledge of these distant markets is not merely based on telephone or email contact with the local agencies and clients, it is grounded in the first-hand experience of having lived and worked in many Asian cities for the better part of five years.

Each year, we return to some of the staple markets such as Tokyo and Singapore, as well as explore and investigate emerging markets like Shanghai and Kuala Lumpur. This allows us to keep up not only on the changes that are inevitable to any market, but also to get a feel for the safety of these cities, visit the apartments where the models will stay, and actually experience the particulars of each country’s airport and immigration processes.

Further, by exploring the budding fashion scene of these new markets, we provide the models we place with the advantage of living and working in cities before they are saturated with more developed models who lift the competition.
